Biomedical Informatics Centre has been a recent addition to the National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health (NIRRH), which is a premier research institute of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). This centre is one of the 9 centres established by ICMR. The centre was instituted with the broad objective of undertaking computational studies in the realm of reproductive health. The centre is currently engaged in the study of antimicrobial peptides and the interactions of gonadotropins with their receptors.
